The Barred Chestnut (Diarsia dahlii) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.

This species is local in Scotland, northern England and Wales, but scarce elsewhere. This species is reddish brown, with females being darker than males. The leading edge of the forewing is strongly curved, and this species is named for the dark barring on the forewing. This species flies from late Summer to early Autumn.
