The Butterfish (Pholis gunnellus), is Eel-like in shape and can be marked by a row of up to 15 spots along its Dorsal Fin. It is named the Butterfish because of its slippery skin. It can grow up to 10 inches long and inhabits crevices and any areas around kelp plants.
