The Chamomile Shark (Cucullia chamomillae) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family. This species is local in Britain, inhabiting grasslands and farmland during Spring. Similar to the Shark (C. umbratica),but umbratica flies later, and in the Chamomile Shark the black lines follow into the border, whereas the shark stops. This species is quite large and slender, with a 'fin' which gives the species it's name. The larvea feed on plants such as chamomile.
