The Curled Octopus (Eledone cirrhosa) is a species of octopus found in Britain.
Our most frequently encountered octopus found in Britain, this species is found on the west and southern coasts of Britain, where in some places it is common. This species has a smooth body, and the long tentacles are covered in suckers. The Common Octopus is larger, and like this species can change colour rapidly to camouflage itself. This species inhabits rocky coasts.
