Cynips quercusfolii is a species of wasp in the Cynipidae family.

This gall wasp is widespread in Britain, and is found in most oak woodlands. This species forms the Cherry Gall on the underside of oak leaves. The insect has a red head and thorax, while the abdomen is black. The adults are active in winter, while the galls can be seen in summer and autumn.
