The Dark Spinach (Pelurga comitata) is a species of moth in the Geometridae family.
This species is widespread in southern and central Britain, flying in the Summer. This species has broad, straw-coloured wings, with a central crossbar which is slightly darker than the base colour, with several crossbands which get lighter. In the lightest crossband there is a dark dot. Inhabiting a range of habitats including gardens. It appears this species is declining.
The larva feed on oraches and goosefoots.
