The Flounced Chestnut (Agrochola helvola) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.
This species is widespread in Britain, inhabiting woodlands, moors, and scrubs during the Autumn. This species is similar to other chestnuts, but is generally larger, with a more angular forewing. There is a paler crossbar in the centre of the forewings, and the kidney and oval marks are pale. As this species name suggests, it is chestnut brown in colour.
