Formica lemani is a species of ant found in Britain.

Similar to Formica fusca, this species reaches 7mm in length, and differs from F. fusca as workers have short stubby hairs prescent. This species is most common in Soctland as far north as Orkney, though populations occur in lowland Britain, and south-west England. This species inhabits woodlands, heaths and moors, and feed on other invertebrates.
