Gold Spot (Plusia festucae) is a moth in the Noctuidae family. It is very similar to Lempke's gold spot in appearance, though it tends to have a more northerly distribution.The wingspan is 34-46 mm. The moth flies from June to September depending on the location. The larvae feed on Carex, Sparganium erectum, Iris pseudacorus and Alisma.
