The Green Dock Beetle (Gastrophysa viridula) is a species of beetle in the Chrysomelidae family.
This species is widespread in Britain, and is often found on platns, espcially near ponds. Often found on Dock, sometimes in large numbers. The females swell so you can see the abdomen once mated.
