The Large Marsh Grasshopper (Stethophyma grossum) is a large species of grasshopper.
Britain's largest grasshopper, the Large Marsh Grasshopper is very rare in Britain, restricted to the New Forest (in Hampshire), Surrey and some Dorset heaths. Found in marshes and heathlands, espcially those with peat bogs. This species can range from green, to brown or even purple. Also very local in Europe.
