The Levant Blackneck (Tathorhynchus exsiccata) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.
This moth looks more like a large Agonopterix than a noctuid and is a straw brown with black markings, with white oval and kidney marks. The wings are narrower near the thorax, and get broader. This species is a very rare immigrant to Britain, with less than 30 records.
Unlike most rare immigrants to Britain, many records of this species are from early Spring.
