The Long-winged Conehead (Conocephalus discolor) is a species of Cricket. This species was once rare in Britain, but is spreading due to the warmer climate. Similar to the Short-winged Conehead (C. dorsalis) but, as it's name suggests, has shorter wings. This species is mainly diurnal, and has a high-pitched call. Inhabits areas which are both dry or moist, and is mostly found in the South cpast of Britain, but is spreading.
