The March Moth (Alsophila aescularia) is a species of moth in the Geometridae family.

The male is unlike any other geometrid, holding it's wings in a noctuidae-like fashion. The forewing is grey, with white crosslines, and various patches of grey. The female is wingless, and only shows her grey-brown abdomen. Flying in late Winter to Spring, this species is widespread in Britain, in woodlands, gardens and scrubs.
