Plagiolepis taurica is a species of ant in the Formicidae family.

This ant is very small, with workers being 1-2mm in length, and queens being 3-4mm in length. This ant is found only in the Channel Islands in Britain, and is absent from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The workers are pale to dark brown in colour, while the males are brownish black. This species can be found in dry open areas under stones or in crevices.
