The Puss Moth (Cerura vinula) is a fairly large species of moth. It has a white/grey body and wings. The forewings have yellow stripes, and black dots and contoured lines.
Found throughout Britiain, this species flies from May-July. This species is in the family Notodontidae.
This species will be attracted to light traps.
The caterpillar of this species has a very distinctive "head" and has a small tail.
