The Seathorn Hawk-moth (Hyles hippophaes) is a species of moth in the Sphingidae family.
This hawkmoth is similar to the Spurge Hawkmoth, but has plainer forewings. The forewings are olive-green, with a darker triangle going from the trailing edge towards the leading edge, with a lighter patch surrounding it. The hindwing is pink with a black border. This species is an accidental to Britain, with a single record from the 1850's. In southern Europe, this species flies from April to June.
