The Skin Moth (Monopis laevigella) is a species of moth in the Tineidae family.

This species is widespread and common in most of Britain, but is scarce in Ireland. Feeding on animal food, this species is most abundant near farmhouses or stables. This species is a dark blue-grey, with a cream-white edge and an orange head. There is also a cream-white spot about halfway of the forewing.
