The Sombre Brocade (Dryobotodes tenebrosa) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.
A medium sized moth, this species is light brown in colour, with dark orange and dark yellow markings on the forewing. The oval and kidney mark are slightly lighter than the base colour, and there are several cross lines. Rather similar to a dark Brindled Green. This species flies in October till December.

This mediterranean species was first recorded on the Guernsey in 2006, and on mainland Britain in Dorset in 2008. where it now breeds. Elsewhere, it is a rare immigrant.
The larvae feed on Holm Oak.
