The Southern Oak Bush-cricket (Meconema thalassinum) is a species of bush-cricket.

This species, which is found in the Mediterranean, has been introduced to Britain. Found on the south coast, this species is spready extremly fast for a species which is flightless. The wings run for less than half of the body. Similar to the Oak Bush-cricket, this species has much shorter wings and is often paler.
