The Spring Gentian (Gentiana verna) is a species of flower in the Gentianaceae family.

This species is very rare in Britain, restricted to Upper Teesdale in England, as well as western Ireland. Inhabiting grasslands, this species is quite small, reaching 6cm, with leaves reaching 1.5cm. The flowers are similar to other gentians, and are small and blue.
