The Tamarisk Peacock (Godonella aestimaria) is a species of moth in the Geometridae family.
This species is a rare vagrant to Britain, with 4 records, the first being from Sholden in August 2004, shortly followed by another in September 2004. The later two have been in 2006 and 2008. This species is easy to identify, with a sharply angled hindwing. The base colour is grey, with a dark stripe which runs across the forewings and onto the hindwings. There is a small triangle near the outer edge of the forewing. This species is found in Southern Europe.
