The Feline (Cerura erminea) is a species of moth in the Notodontidae family.
A large moth very similar to the Puss Moth. Slightly smaller than the Puss Moth, this species has less spots on the wings and thorax, and lacks any dark band near the base of the forewing. This species flies from the Spring into mid-Summer.
This species is only found at Jersey, where it has been overlooked before, and was first discovered in 2008, but this lead to the discovery of specimens going back to 1995.
The larvae feed on a range of trees, including birches.
