The Sycamore
(Acronicta aceris) is a species of Noctuid moth.

This species is local in Britain, being found in gardens and deiduous woodland in the South and Central of Britain. Flying from June-August, this species is often attracted to light. The yellow and red caterpillars are easily identified.
