The White-lined Hawk-moth (Hyles lineata) is a species of moth in the Sphingidae family.
This species has been recorded once in Britain, and that was in Yorkshire in the late 19th Century. Very similar to the Striped Hawkmoth, this species is olive-green in colour, with a pale line running down the forewing. Then there are 5 lines which cross this central line.
This species originates from America, and it is likely that the specimen was accidently imported.
