The White Ermine (Spilosoma lubricipeda) is a species of moth in the Arctiidae family.

This species is widespread in Britain, inhabiting a wide range of habitats. Despite this, this species has undergone a massive 77% decline since 1980. This species can be identified by its white wings, which are covered in black spots. Some forms are buffish in colour, but can be seperated from the Buff Ermine by the fact this species is more spotted, and on the Buff Ermine, spots are larger and more aligned.
